It’s pretty great to hear Freddie Gibbs act as unwitting (but probably not unwilling) Midwest rap ambassador, bringing his gothic, ultra-depressing fast rap sound to a whole new audience. “Fuck the World” is from his upcoming Str8 Killa, No Filla, which will be released for free, therefore making it the ultimate fuck-you to the entire music industry, also the economy, also Freddie Gibbs himself a little bit, because it would totally be worth spending money on.
